So an update to this. The pace at which people do stuff in this area is mind blowing at how laid back and slow they are. I hired someone to bring in 10 loads of clean fill a little over 2 weeks ago. Fast forward to Monday and I called the guy, and said that because of rain in the forecast he wasn't gonna get to it till he got back from vacation in 2 weeks (making the total wait to 4 weeks). No one else in the area can get clean fill or was a month or more out.
Being impatient at this point, I rented an excavator for a week and I pick up the padded foot roller tomorrow. I dug a pit that will eventually get filled with boulders and debris then covered up. I also have 180yrds (10 truck loads) of crusher run coming tomorrow. Fingers crossed the rain holds off this weekend and I should have my footers close to being done and ready for rebar.
I scored 2 60x40 shops that were being taken down in Missouri about 2 months ago for dirt cheap. The plan was to put up 2 quick pole barns for storage of all the stuff I have. Started auguring the pole holes and got less than 2ft in the ground on all of them before rock stopped me. Yesterday I ended up using the excavator to dig the rock out
