Yeah, I linked the JB Conversions one a while back, waiting to hear if it will work.IIRC the nv4500 came with 29 spline output, so should be able to get an input for the 300.
Thanks. Next I'll be working on a in CJ tank fuel pump. I've used the JB Conversions one before, not sure it's worth the dough:Cool build. This is quite close to what I currently have in the back of my mind to turn my current Jeep into.

Yes, sort of... I bought one years ago for a 21g tank. I bought the new 20g sending unit from them and moved my pump over to it.You end up using the novak unit?
4:1 with the 6L80e 4.027:1 first gear?Bought Holley Terminator X to control the LS1 with a 6L80E. Interesting, in that they can cross Gen 3 GM engines with Gen 4 GM TEHCM's which are in the transmission's valve body.
Still waiting for the chassis to get out of paint prison.
Also, pulling apart a stock Dana 300, for the 32 spline input, new twin stick shifter rails, all new bearings, seals and a JB Conversions 4:1.

What diff ratio?
For my commando (LV3/6L80e), I took 4:1 gears out of my d300 and opted for factory 2.62 gears because the 4:1 1st gear and 4.88 diff gears seemed right for crawling. Of course it's holding jackstands to the floor, so I don't know if I'll wish I had more than 51.5:1 (would be 78:1)

They look like someone poured salt water in the case filled it half way,then let it sit for a year. The tooth face for 1/2 the gear is corroded more than I'd want to sell to anyone.
My buggy runs 4:1 d300 gears, so I've tossed em in the corner as emergency spares.
